Can I have my team use Yubikey with my Safe wallet multi sig contract?

Hi everyone,

I am setting up a Safe wallet and want to make sure my setup is as safe as possible. I am looking into using a physical hardware security key called a YubiKey.

I want to know if I can use a YubiKey as one of the keys (signers) to approve transactions on my Safe.

Could someone explain:

  1. Is it possible to connect a YubiKey directly to Safe as an owner?

  2. If not, what is the best way to use a YubiKey to protect the other software wallets (like MetaMask) that I connect to my Safe?
